We had a great day in St. Mary's PS Gortnaghey for World Book Day 2024. The costumes were amazing and all the children and staff had a fantastic day, beginning with an assembly by Miss Doherty. All classes completed activities such as story time, book bingo, book reviews, book covers and paired reading. Mr Trunchbull (Mr O'Kane) threatened to put the whole school in the 'chokey'. Thank you to our parents for making this day special for all the children and for the fantastic effort with all the costumes.
