Stars of the Week 21.02.2025
After a refreshing mid-term, our pupils have returned full of energy and enthusiasm, and we are delighted to celebrate our Stars of the Week! These pupils have shown a great effort and dedication towards our goals of Collaboration and Faith. Their hard work and positive attitudes continue to inspire those around them.
Congratulations to all our Stars of the Week.
In addition to celebrating our Stars of the Week, our pupils have been busy with a range of fantastic activities and learning experiences this week.
Pupils took part in an important Child Protection and NSPCC assembly, learning about how to stay safe and seek help when needed.
Our P5 and P6 pupils took part in their first Shared Education trip to Extreme Bounce, where they enjoyed a fun and active session together.
A huge well done to our four P7 pupils who represented the school at the Doire Cumann na mBunscol Quiz at St. Mary’s Primary School, Glenview. They did an amazing job, with one of our pupils placing 6th out of 30 schools - a fantastic achievement!
A special congratulations to our P6 pupil who did brilliantly in her recent Irish dancing competition- a fantastic achievement that reflects her dedication and hard work!
We are also incredibly proud of our P7 pupil who played in the half-time game during the Derry vs Galway match at the weekend - a fantastic opportunity and experience.
Finally, our KS2 pupils completed their Emotional Resilience workshop with the Dry Arch, finishing their final session with valuable discussions and activities to support their wellbeing.
Well done to all our pupils for another brilliant week of learning and achievements!
