Easter Week

17th Apr 2025

Easter Week at School

As it’s the final week before our Easter break, there were no Stars of the Week—but that didn’t stop our pupils from shining in lots of other ways!

Our pupils have enjoyed a week filled with fun, reflection, and meaningful learning. Throughout the week, they explored the story of Holy Week, taking time to understand the significance of its events and the message of hope and renewal that Easter brings.

A huge congratulations to our incredibly talented Primary 6 pupil, who placed 3rd at the World Irish Dancing Championships!—she continued to compete throughout the week, and we are so proud of her hard work, determination, and passion. We’re all cheering you on—best of luck for the rest of the championships!

A huge congratulations to our wonderful Primary 4 pupils who received the Sacrament of Reconciliation this week. This special milestone in their faith journey was made even more memorable by the children’s thoughtful participation and the beautiful way they read their prayers. They worked incredibly hard to prepare, and we are so proud of each and every one of them. A heartfelt thank you to Fr. Gerry for leading such a meaningful and reflective service.

We had lots of excitement during our Easter Egg Hunt on Wednesday! Children followed clues around the school, working together in teams. Prizes were awarded for patience, encouragement, team spirit, and speed—well done to everyone who took part!

A very special thank you to a Primary 2 pupil who brought in a beautifully baked Easter cake to share with his classmates—what a thoughtful gesture!

We also saw some fantastic Easter hairstyles from two sisters, styled by their mum into Easter baskets and plaits with eggs—they looked incredible!

Congratulations to all pupils who earned class star rewards

Our Primary 7 pupils took part in an exciting STEM challenge this week, transforming into young inventors for their own version of Dragons’ Den. Tasked with designing futuristic inventions to address real-world issues like pollution and deforestation, they showcased their creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. After careful planning, they confidently pitched their innovative ideas to the class—brilliant work, P7!

Despite the change in weather, our pupils made the most of their time outdoors — from den building and nail salons to imaginative games using our play equipment. It’s always a joy to see them working together, thinking creatively, and turning even a rainy day into something special.

Wishing all of our pupils and families a joyful and peaceful Easter break!
